Luke Archer
Managing Partner
Luke founded TENTEN Partners along with Esther Khor.
Luke moved into recruitment at the ripe old age of 28 years old, changing from a career in hunting Russian submarines to hunting talent! He served 11 very enjoyable years in the Royal Navy where he was stationed around the globe in various locations such as the Middle East, Asia, United States, and the UK.
Immersing himself into his new London role Luke led a team focussed on technology roles within Financial services. This eventually led him to join Hudson Global resources where over a period of 7 years he became the Managing Director for the London, Home Counties and the Middle East businesses, managing over 250 staff.
He was then given the opportunity to move to Singapore and set-up McGregor Boyall’s first overseas operation in 2010. Although initially a very tough journey, 5 years later the brand was well established in the region as a key player in technology hiring.
In 2016 Luke felt it was time to go alone and start his own business and through a client introduction met Esther Khor, Co-founder of TENTEN Partners. Within a very short period, it was clear they both shared an equal passion, drive and a desire to build something unique.
The business is now a well-established brand in Singapore and the region. A second office in Hong Kong opened in January 2019 and the UK TENTEN Global Cyber business launched in July 2021.
Luke leads from the front, specialising in senior appointments within technology and transformation across financial services, insurance and consulting clients.
Outside of recruitment Luke enjoys spending time with his family and pets, traveling and cooking whilst trying to get back once a year to watch Chelsea!
